By accessing and using BackupGo ("Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use this Service.

2. Beta Program

BackupGo is currently in beta testing phase. The Service is provided "as is" during this period. While we strive for reliability, we cannot guarantee uninterrupted service during the beta phase.

  • Beta access is free of charge
  • Features may change without notice
  • Service may experience downtime for updates
  • Data backup during beta is at user's risk

3. Use License

Permission is granted to use BackupGo for personal and commercial database backup purposes, subject to the following restrictions:

  • You may not redistribute or sell the Service
  • You may not reverse engineer the Service
  • You must not use the Service for illegal purposes
  • You must not attempt to compromise the Service's security

4. Data Storage and Security

BackupGo facilitates backup storage to Amazon S3. You are responsible for:

  • Your AWS account and associated costs
  • Compliance with AWS terms of service
  • Ensuring you have rights to backup the data
  • Maintaining security of your access credentials

5. Privacy

Your use of BackupGo is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Please review our Privacy Policy, which also governs the Site and informs users of our data collection practices.

6. Disclaimer

The information on BackupGo is provided on an "as is" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, BackupGo:

  • Excludes all representations and warranties relating to this Service
  • Excludes liability for damages arising out of use of the Service
  • Does not guarantee backup success or data integrity

7. Limitations

In no event shall BackupGo or its suppliers be liable for any damages (including, without limitation, damages for loss of data or profit) arising out of the use or inability to use the Service.

8. Account Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your account
  • All activities that occur under your account
  • Notifying us of any unauthorized use
  • Ensuring your contact information is current

9. Service Modifications

BackupGo reserves the right to:

  • Modify or discontinue the Service at any time
  • Change pricing after the beta period ends
  • Limit features or functionality
  • Terminate accounts that violate these terms

These terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these terms will not be considered a waiver of those rights.
